JAGA Releases 2026 Schedule of Events

FOR RELEASE: Tuesday, January 6, 2026

JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Area Golf Association (JAGA) today announced its schedule of events for 2026. The ’26 lineup once again includes 11 tournaments involving men, women and junior golfers of all ages played at stroke play, match play and/or in team formats, plus the Celebration of Golf Banquet presented by Circle K in February.

Here is the 2026 lineup of events:

*Conducted by Northern Chapter of the North Florida PGA, with the support of JAGA.
** Conducted by North Florida Junior Golf Tour, with the support of JAGA.
*** If necessary, a qualifier will be held in early July at a venue TBD.
**** Conducted by First Coast Women’s Amateur Tournament Committee, with the support of JAGA.

A few notes about the 2026 venues:

  • Deerwood CC will host the JAGA First Coast Amateur presented by the City of Jacksonville in January (17-19) as JAGA’s kickoff event for the second year in a row.
  • The Celebration of Golf Banquet presented by Circle K moves from TPC Sawgrass to Deerwood CC.
  • The Underwood Cup will be played Feb. 2-3. The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach will host the matches for the first time and become only the fourth venue to be a host.
  • Stillwater G&CC will host back-to-back Spring events – the JAGA Spring Four-Ball in March and the JAGA Senior Amateur Championship presented by Lennar in May.
  • Two of JAGA’s “major” championships continue to rotate their host venues:
  • Jacksonville Amateur Championship presented by Pinnacle Financial Partners moves from Timuquana CC to Sawgrass CC. Original presenting sponsor Synovus merged, effective Jan. 1, 2026, resulting in a name change for the Jacksonville Amateur.
  • The Jax Am dates are Sunday through Tuesday in 2026 vs. Thursday through Saturday as they have been in recent years.
  • The First Coast Womens’ Amateur presented by Brooks Rehabilitation moves from Sawgrass CC to Jacksonville G&CC.
  • The name of the Oct. 26th club team event has been renamed to reflect its prior 44-year history of honoring former presidents of JAGA. The JAGA Club Team Championship will now be known as the “JAGA Club Team Presidents Cup”. The World Golf Village-King and Bear will host for the second year in a row.
  • JAGA’s key fund-raiser for its Scholarship Trust program moves from Deerwood CC to Marsh Landing CC.

With Lennar coming on board at the JAGA Senior Amateur Championship, JAGA’s family of presenting sponsors has grown to four:

  • City of Jacksonville – JAGA First Coast Amateur
  • Circle K – Celebration of Golf Banquet & Scholarship Golf Classic
  • Lennar – JAGA Senior Amateur Championship
  • Pinnacle Financial Partners (formerly Synovus) – JAGA Jacksonville Amateur Championship

JAGA continues to partner with and/or support Northeast Florida’s other leading golf organizations in conducting their key events:

  • The Northern Chapter of the North Florida PGA at the Underwood Cup
  • The North Florida Junior Golf Tour at the Greater Jacksonville Junior Championship
  • The committee of the First Coast Womens’ Amateur presented by Brooks Rehabilitation
