JAGA Scholars

The JAGA Charitable Trust currently supports 69 scholars, and since its inception in 1974, the Charitable Trust has distributed over $2.5 million in scholarships to more than 500 students.

Each recipient will be awarded a $1,250 scholarship for each semester of the 2026-2027 school year. Scholarships are renewable each semester based on scholars meeting certain criteria, including a minimum grade-point average, and required number of credit hours for up to eight semesters.

The 2026 class of 18 scholars is the second-largest in the 52-year history of the JAGA Scholarship Trust. This year’s student class represents 12 local high schools, has a 4.2 GPA, and will be attending 13 different institutions. The students had significant community service participation and held leadership positions with a variety of organizations.
