FOR RELEASE: Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026
JACKSONVILLE, FL – The TPC Sawgrass team of professional Brian Riddle and club members Brad Rollinson, Shawn Heinchon and Rick Root dominated the 44th annual JAGA Club Team Presidents Cup on Monday, Oct. 26th at the World Golf Village’s King & Bear, winning by six shots in the one gross, two net balls format.
Deerwood CC finished second. Tied for third were Palatka GC and Deercreek CC, with three teams tied for fifth – The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach, Timuquana CC and Windy Harbor GC.
The win by TPC Sawgrass was the PGA Tour-owned facility’s first in the event which honors the long list of JAGA presidents who have led the organization dating back to its inception in 1954. Fittingly, the current JAGA president, Duke Butler III, is a JAGA director who represents TPC Sawgrass.
All four of the TPC Sawgrass team members posted gross scores of 80 or better – Riddle (79), Rollinson (74), Heinchon (78) and Root (80) – in the high, gusty winds that have been typical in Northeast Florida in recent weeks.
The Club Team Presidents Cup, which is limited to JAGA’s 40 member facilities, fielded 21 teams.
The Club Team Presidents Cup trophy will reside at TPC Sawgrass for the next twelve months, leading up to the 2027 tournament.
