JAGA invites you to come to North Florida for
three days of championship-caliber competition
ENTRY FEE: $275
Championship competition, plus Mid-Amateur division for age 25+.
Entry deadline is Jan. 8, 2018.
JUST ANNOUNCED: The World Amateur Golf Ranking
will award points at the 2018 First Coast Amateur.
- 54 holes, stroke-play competition.
- All competitors compete for First Coast Amateur title, with those age 25+ also competing for the mid-amateur title.
- Inaugural 2017 event featured 77 players, comprised of top amateur, mid-amateur, collegiate and junior talent from 11 states and four countries, with 12 colleges represented.
- 2017 champion was Brandon Mancheno of Jacksonville, Fla. in January.
- Host Hidden Hills is an Arnold Palmer Signature course. Former site of PGA TOUR’s Greater Jacksonville Open, won by Gary Player, Tony Jacklin and Don January.
- Hidden Hills stretches to 6,900 yards and is known for its elevation and intriguing curves, contours, majestic pines and oaks, and rolling fairways, creating a unique Florida setting. Club owner and GM Russ Libby is President of the Northern Chapter of the North Florida PGA.
- Contestants will have the option to play practice rounds.
- Conducted by the Jacksonville Area Golf Association (JAGA), an organization formed in 1954.
