Will Davis gave himself a 21st birthday present one day early when he fired a closing-round 67 to become the 62nd champion of the Jacksonville Area Golf Association Amateur Championship at San Jose Country Club where he grew up playing the game of golf.

Amateur championships
The area’s top local amateur championships will be this month.
The 62nd Jacksonville Amateur will played at San Jose on July 20-22 with UNF’s Jason Duff defending. It will be 54 holes with a cut after the second round. An unprecedented 132 players have signed up for the 84-player field. Read more here…
